You can send a job to another installer business that uses the app (your subcontractor), or receive jobs from a business you subcontract for (your contractor).
Connect
- Go to Subcontractors → Add a subcontractor and enter their email.
- If they're on the app, they get a request to accept. If not, they get an invite to create a free account.
- Nothing is sent until they accept.
Requests you receive appear on the dashboard and in Settings → Connections. Only the owner can accept.
Send a job
On the job, open Subcontract and choose:
- Request a quote: the sub quotes, you award or decline.
- Offer a fixed amount: the sub accepts or declines.
Pick which files to share. Files named like a PO, quote, invoice, estimate or bill are never offered.

What the sub sees
The sub works the job in their own account as a normal job with its own reference. They see the site, scope, dates and shared files. They never see your customer, PO, contacts, site notes or your prices. Their crew see shared files but no amounts.
While it's worked
The sub's dates, visits, photos, signatures and survey show read-only on your job. The sub runs their own closeout; their packet is theirs.
Money
Money stays separate. The sub invoices you from their account. You record what you paid; the sub sees Confirm received.
Cancel or disconnect
Cancel subcontract takes the job back. Disconnect stops new jobs; existing ones stay visible to both of you.
Receiving jobs
A business that only receives subcontracted jobs works those jobs free, with no plan. See Billing.
