Many print companies want their own Installation Approval Form signed at the end of a job. The app uses their PDF, with boxes you place on it, so the signed copy looks exactly like theirs.
Set up a form
- Open the company under Companies (or Settings → Direct clients for your own form).
- Upload the PDF form.
- Draw boxes where things go: signature, initials, printed name, date (fills in by itself), text and number.
- Use Preview to see sample values in each box, then save.
Print companies on the app manage their own forms, and theirs are used automatically on their jobs.

Sign in person
- On the on-site screen, tap Sign next to the form.
- Hand the phone over. The customer fills in the fields, signs with a finger, initials, and agrees to sign electronically.
- The signed PDF is saved on the job and added to the completion packet.
This works offline too; the signed form is stamped when the phone reconnects.
Send a signing link
If the customer isn't there, use Send signing link. They get a link that:
- works once and expires after 7 days,
- shows only the form, the job title, site address and scope,
- needs no account.
You'll see A customer signed from a link in notifications when it's done.
When nobody signs
The fallback is always a reason under Customer didn't sign, which is printed in the packet. If a signed form is required, the closeout can still be sent with a reason.
Photo rules
The same company page sets the before/after photo minimums, whether a signed form is required, and the closeout and invoice deadlines. Leave them unset to use your defaults.
